I just saw the owner's posting from March 6, 2023 that you guys permanently closed due to the rent doubling under the new landlord. You were our family's favorite restaurant, and your food was divine. (Where am I going to find fung sa shrimp now?) Please tell me if and when you guys ever open a new location. Thanks for all the years of delicious food and great service!
I've been coming here as a kid! My family and I eat here for the holidays at least once a year. The dishes I recommend are the Yang chow fried rice, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian beef, fried soft shell crab, and the Thai hot pot. They also serve a taro tapioca dessert at the end of the meal.
It's been literally years since I ate here, but my family loves this place. My dad's birthday was a week ago, so we came here to celebrate! It wasn't that crowded when we got there, but as we order our food, there were more people arriving. We ordered lobster meat fried rice, thai seafood soup, chive flower with silky tofu, and this shrimp/crab dish that I forgot the name of oops. My sister loves the fried rice here especially with the lobster pieces. I especially LOVE their thai seafood soup, it's so freaking good. It's spicy and sour and you get all the seafood up in there (squid, tomato's, shrimp, mushroom, clams). You can even eat it with noodles as well. The tofu with chives is a basic dish, but it was pretty good overall. The shrimp/crab thing was super crunchy and had a great flavor. After we had our main course, it was time for dessert. The one thing my dad loves about this restaurant is that they served chè (Vietnamese dessert soup) at the end. We got served taro chè, and he finished within two seconds lol. The prices of our whole order was pretty decent considering we got four dishes. My family were both shook that the noodles for the seafood soup came out to be $7, which should not be worth that much at all.
We've been coming here for years and eat in and take to go. This time we took 2 priests from out church. Needless to say they were impressed. We ordered the salt and pepper green beans and one of the priest doesn't like beans but he ate up like they were fries. Our foto fried rice is the lobster fried rice with bits of lobster mixed in. I just love their beef chow fun. They have large pieces of meat and the noodles are cooked perfectly. I ordered the dry chow fun not that wet one. Can't go wrong with Mongolian chicken. Throat sweet, savory, spicy flavor is the best. Lastly the salt and pepper fish is fresh and tasty. Their portions are a bit smaller compared to the others tho. Will return again and again. I think our pastor will too.
Does anyone know if they relocated or renamed their restaurant?? I love the pork bao!! it was soo good!
